Airport 101
Learn the basics of how airports function and the steps to keeping them operating safely and smoothly.

How To Build Your CIP
This session will cover the planning and budgeting for your airport through the shorter-term plans in your capital improvement plan submitted to the state and FAA.

Airfield Inspections
Learn all about how to conduct an airfield inspection to ensure that your airfield is safe for users.

Wildlife
Discuss all of the different aspects of wildlife control on an airport and the hazards presented by animals on an airfield. Also discuss how to complete a wildlife strike report with the FAA.

Minimum Standards
This session will explore what minimum standards are and why they are important to airport operations. We will discuss best practices and give examples from various airports.

Grant Assurances
When receiving funds from the FAA there are rules that must be followed even long after a project has completed. This session will cover what those rules say and the issues that can come from non-compliance.

Master Planning
This session will cover the master planning process, key considerations for successful implementation, stakeholder engagement strategies, and how master plans support funding and capital improvement decisions. Attendees will gain practical insights to help their airports plan effectively for the future.

Part 77/Protection Areas
There are areas around an airport that must be cleared of obstacles and obstructions. This session will cover what those areas are, how big they are, and what you can do as an airport operator to ensure they remain clear.

This session will look at new technology that is on the horizon that airport operators need to be aware of and begin planning for.
