• Snow and Ice Control Plan implementation including instruction of when to initiate the plan, coordinating resources, communications with stakeholders leading up to an event and after-action meetings.
• Determining priority areas, NOTAM issuance, and surface closures.
• Anti-icing and De-icing Operations (when to spend money).
• Building “Snow Crew” staffing list, schedules throughout winter weather events and the utilization of other departments.
• Landside Operations -vs- Airside Operations.

We will then move the training out to our equipment buildings and discuss removal equipment and preventative maintenance of the machines. This will include lessons learned and a Q&A session with our Vehicle Maintenance Team. Tulsa International Airport airfield tours will also be available to those who would benefit.
